Beekeeping and products from the hive
Fiche Filière Miel AgriMer Publication 2022 for the year 2020 highlighted in relation to 2021
The data published by AgiMer for 2020 highlights the very poor harvest in 2021
Unaf published information in October 2021 putting the harvest at just 7,000 to 9,000 tonnes, less than half that of 2020. In 1995, France produced around 32,000 tonnes of honey. In 2019, the harvest was less than 10,000 tonnes.
But where does the honey I eat come from?
Towards a new beekeeper-consumer approach.
Students preparing a Master's degree in Business Administration Management have taken up this theme for their final dissertation. They have given us permission to publish it so that we can play our part in sharing knowledge in this field, which is a little more complicated than you might think if you want to see it evolve.
All the issues and levers of economic, environmental and "good consumption" impact are brought together in this study, which we recommend you read according to your priority theme:

This dossier also brings together different points of view, such as those expressed by Itsap on the adulteration of honeys(https://itsap.asso.fr), which UNAF is also expressing on its website through a request for participation in its petition for the quality of honeys(https://www.unaf-apiculture.info).
